COURSE CONTENT
1) Electrical & Electronic Automation: Basics of electrical and electronics, switching logic, relay, timer, counter, contractor control logic,
2) AC Motors and Drives: AC Motor, starters, and AC Drives in detail.
3) Sensors: Its types, application selection and practical application on machines.
4) Programmable Logic Controller (PLC): Basics of PLC, PLC Architecture, NPN and PNP Input & Output Switching, Interfacing PLC Digital / Analog IO with User & Field, Hardware and IO Configurations, Developing Ladder diagram Programming using, Timer, Counter, Downloading and Uploading of PLC Program, Documentation of Program. Programming using Siemens PLC Logo, Telemechanic Zelio and Delta PLC PLCs. Their installation, basic programming, and trouble shooting on live dedicated machines.
5) Control Panel: Generation of electricity: Control panel building and layout in detail. Electrical circuit breakers, electrical control panel, practical wiring with 3 phase, single phase, 24 V dc SMPS power supply, Various starters and their testing. Bill of material, and costing. Trouble shooting of problems in live machine control panel.
6) Servo Motors,Stepper Motor and Drives: Servo stepper motor basics. Their programming basics, installation and running on live machines.
7) Chords and Connections: Knowledge of all the above is of little use, if you are not able to connect these with each other, using proper chords and cables. Special attention is paid on teaching usage, troubleshooting, and connecting proper cables.
