COURSE CONTENT
1) Electrical & Electronic Automation: Basics of electrical and electronics, switching logic, relay, timer, counter, contractor logic, AC Motors and Drives, starters, Sensors, its types, application selection and practical application on machines.
2) Programmable Logic Controller (PLC): Basics of PLC, PLC Architecture, NPN and PNP Input & Output Switching, Interfacing PLC Digital / Analog IO with User & Field, Hardware and IO Configurations, Developing Ladder diagram Programming using, Timer, Counter, and functions like Comparator, Scaling, and Mathematical, Downloading and Uploading of PLC Program, Documentation of Program. Programming using various PLCs like:
- Siemens PLC Logo and Telemechanic Zelio
- Siemens PLC (S 1200)
- Delta and Panasonic PLCs
Its installation, programming, and trouble shooting on live dedicated machines. Good and bad practices in PLC Programming. Diagnostics & Fault Detection, Error finding and PLC Troubleshooting Siemens PLC (S7 1200), Introduction to Siemens S7- PLC Family, HMI, SCADA, The Architecture of Siemens S7 – PLC, Introduction to Software, their installation, Project Customization and Creation of New Project, PLC programming, S7-1200 H/W Configuration, IO Addressing and Selection of programming. Block Diagram and Ladder Diagram Programming, Downloading the Program into PLC using ProfiNet, Fault finding,
3) SCADA, DCS and HMI: Basics of SCADA, DCS, HMI connections and programming, upload and downloading of HMI programs, Hardware and Software requirements for SCADA, Siemens WinCC, System Graphic Designing, Data Acquisition, Messages, and Alarms, Recipes Generation & Selection Standard Report Generation, User Administration, Cross References and Project Backup This is an important topic, which needs to be learned, if engineers have to perform seamlessly. Various chords, cables, pins, sockets, connections needed to run and connect PLC, HMIs, servo, stepper motors, will be taught.
4) Control Panel: Basics of control panel, working and troubleshooting on live projects
5) Servo Motors and Drives: Servo motor are important components of today's automation. Without learning, no automation course can be completed. Aura teaches students, selection, mounting, connections, chord connection, integration with control panel, and programming of servo motor and drives in detail. Practical training will be given on live servo projects like Pick and Place, gantry type robotic system, and delta robotic system developed by AURA.
6) Stepper Motors and Drives: As servo is related with speed, so is stepper motor related with accuracy. Aura students will get hands on experience on Stepper motors, drives and its programming.
7) Chords and Connections: Knowledge of all the above is of little use, if you are not able to connect these with each other, using proper chords and cables. Special attention is paid on teaching usage, troubleshooting, and connecting proper cables.
